The Ask
Raise awareness about the ethics of design, using any medium or form of communication.
RESEARCH
Initially, we began developing calendars and experimenting with origami art as separate concepts.
However, as the project evolved, we decided to combine the two ideas to create a more engaging and visually cohesive outcome.
the development
Calendars are often viewed as dull or monotonous, so we aimed to make them more appealing especially for children by designing elements that keep them actively interested and involved.
THE DESIGN
First part of the calendar would feature an origami element that can be folded into different shapes each month.
Second part would be the date section, placed on a stand, while the origami transforms into a new design.
This interactive format makes the calendar more enjoyable, encouraging people to look forward to the unique design of the upcoming month.
